How to apply to Bishop England

Application: To be enrolled, a student must be living with a custodial parent/guardian. To make application for his/her child to attend , the parent/guardian must:

1) Forward to the Director of Admissions the following

a) Completed application (no fee required at this time)

b) A written statement as to why they have considered Bishop England High School for their child

c) A copy of any custody arrangements

d) A recent picture of the applicant

2) Request that the child's current school send the following to the Director of Admissions:

a) An official transcript from the current school

b) A written recommendation from the principal or guidance counselor

c) All standardized test scores

Each of the above processes must be completed before an application can be considered. Prospective ninth and tenth grade students are also required to take a placement test, administered each year in January.

 

Admission Information

Thank you for your interest in our high school. The admissions process for the next school year begins on the night of our Open House, and we expect all incoming ninth and tenth graders to take our Placement Test given in January each year on our campus. We begin accepting registration for the Test during November and December each year. The noted list of items to apply should be sent during the month of January.
