MORNING PRAYER – “RAISED IN DIGNITY”

Heavenly Father,

You have called us to a new day as sons and daughters raised in dignity.

Through Your Son, Jesus Christ, help us to be elevated in virtue

in our thoughts, our words, and our actions.

Awaken what is good within us.

Strengthen us to choose what is right when it is difficult.

Give us courage to stand for truth, and humility to serve one another.

May our lives today reflect Your light: to encourage the weary,

to challenge what is wrong, and to seek always what is holy.

From us, Lord, into whom You created us to be, that in all things

we may love the glory of Your Name. We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

END OF DAY PRAYER – “ELEVATED IN VIRTUE”

Lord God,

As this day comes to an end, we return to You in gratitude.

For the ways we lived in dignity, we thank You.

For the moment we failed to act with virtue, we ask Your mercy.

Teach us to grow from this day: to learn from our choices,

to be strengthened in character and renewed in purpose.

Quiet our hearts, Lord, and give rest to our minds.

Heal what is wounded, forgive what is sinful,

and deepen within us a desire for holiness.

May tomorrow find us more faithful, more courageous,

and more ready to love the glory of the Lord.

We entrust this night to You, through Christ our Lord.

Amen.
