Our Catholic identity is truly what sets Bishop England apart. Sacraments are tangible means of Grace Jesus instituted and entrusted to the care of His Church; they root us in Truth and Beauty, and orient us toward our highest Good.
Every Thursday, exposition of the Blessed Sacrament is offered for the duration of the school day in Our Lady of Mercy chapel (Bishop England's beautifully-renovated in-house chapel)!
Faculty and staff volunteer to serve as Adorers throughout the day on Thursdays to offer the opportunity to students to spend as much time with Jesus as they are able--even a few moments between classes, during study hall, etc. If you would like to join our community in Adoration, please sign up to serve as adorer of Jesus in the most Holy Eucharist! Click here if you'd like to sign up for a holy hour.
Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament is also offered in Our Lady of Mercy chapel Tuesday-Friday from 7am-7:45am.
“Do you want our Lord to give you many graces? Visit Him often. Do you want Him to give you few graces? Visit Him seldom. Visits to the Blessed Sacrament are powerful and indispensable means of overcoming the attacks of the devil. Make frequent visits to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and the devil will be powerless against you.” – St. John Bosco
There are many opportunities for Confession throughout each week in the chapel. Never hesitate to draw close to the heart of Jesus in the confessional! We are also blessed to have many priests who want to support you by hearing confessions at class retreats and other large events throughout the year.
Campus Ministry facilitates formation and community for students in OCIA (aka the Catechumenate), to discern alongside peers God's call to enter the Catholic Church and prepare to receive the Sacraments of Initiation at their local parish.
