Green & White Fund

First and foremost in BE’s fundraising activities is the Green & White Fund. This annual fundraising effort provides essential operating funds to support all areas of the School including academic programs, athletics, arts and instructional resources.

The Green & White fund is necessary to sustain the program of excellence that has come to define Bishop England High School. Every gift is important, and indicates that everyone is sharing the expense of providing the best possible education for BE students. Leading the way in this effort are our faculty & staff with 100% contributing to the Green & White Fund. This year our parent and alumni giving goal is 100% participation, and we need everyone’s support to get there: large or small, every gift counts. The Bishop England fiscal year runs July 1 – June 30 so if you have not yet made a gift, please consider doing so today! Donations can be made by mail, online, or by calling the Development Office at 84.849.9599 ext. 139.

What is the Green & White Fund?

The Green & White Fund is a yearly fundraising campaign that provides unrestricted dollars to the school’s operating budget. The campaign begins July 1 and runs until fiscal year end on June 30.

Where do Green & White Fund contributions go?

Green & White Fund dollars impact virtually every student, in every classroom, everyday. It provides the necessary revenue to be able to expand academic programs, extracurricular offerings, enhance technology, and so much more.

All gifts matter, no matter the size, and we simply ask that people consider what Bishop England means to them and then make a gift reflecting that.

Why doesn't tuition cover these expenses?

At Bishop England we strive to set our tuition at levels that make our school an affordable option for our families. Our tuition funds most of the basic operations of the school. However, we depend on gifts to the Green & White Fund to help us accomplish much more than the basics. We need alumni, parents, and friends’ participation to help fund growth in programs, offerings and opportunities.

Who participates in the Green & White Fund?

All members of the BEHS community: parents, alumni, parents of alumni, faculty & staff, and other friends of the school are asked to support the Green & White Fund.

Why is 100% participation important?

Strong participation in the Green & White Fund is an important way for us to demonstrate the commitment and dedication of our parents, alumni and faculty and staff to the giving community. When applying for foundation or corporate gifts, the most important measure used to evaluate community support for the school is the percentage of key groups who participate.
