Bishop England students, like all teenagers, may face social or emotional issues that they need support to handle. Bishop England has a mental health therapist to assist students and their families needing formal psychotherapy services by triaging needs, providing crisis counseling, and referring them to a private therapist where desired.

  • Treatment is not always successful and may open unexpected sensitive areas.
  • Parent involvement is imperative for treatment throughout services.

Mrs. Munn can help your student in the school setting and refer him/her to a private therapist when needed.

The School Clinical Counselor is available weekly on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Students can make an appointment by talking to their school counselor. 

If your student is experiencing a mental health emergency on a Monday or Thursday, please reach out to your child’s school counselor.

Megan Munn, M.Ed., Ed.S., LPC

Megan Munn, M.Ed., Ed.S., LPC

Megan Munn is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who comes to Bishop England with three degrees from Clemson University, including an undergraduate degree in Special Education and Masters/Education Specialist in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.  She has experience working in schools with students of all ages and has previously worked in the Diocese of Charleston before working for the Department of Mental Health the past two years.  She is from the Upstate and graduated from St. Joseph’s Catholic School in 2009.  She is honored to be able to provide psychotherapy to both students and their families while guiding students to grow in the Faith.
