Welcome from the Director of Communications

The Bishop England High School Communications Office is dedicated to articulating and advancing Bishop England High School’s vision. It does so by providing strategic and creative communications to compellingly tell the Bishop England story to multiple audiences using traditional media and emerging technologies.

Operating with integrity, passion, and a spirit of service to fulfill Bishop England’s mission as a Catholic High School, the Communications Office offers to:

  • Help shape, protect, and promote Bishop England High School’s reputation.
  • Build strategic partnerships with a number of constituencies including students, faculty, parents, and alumni, as well as members of the media.
  • Collaborate with numerous school departments to produce timely and interesting content.
  • Manage and create content material found on the school’s website and our social media channels.

Media Relations

Our goal is to be responsive to media coverage and projects that directly relate to the educational mission of Bishop England High School.

All news related to Bishop England High School, its students, faculty, staff, and events are issued through the Office of Communications.

All media requests must go through Maria Aselage at the Diocese of Charleston.

Faculty and staff members as well as students receiving a call or e-mail directly from a reporter are asked to forward the information to the Office of Communications. Permission to take photographs of students, faculty and staff members, buildings, or the campus must be granted in advance by the Office of Communications.
