Programs

The Campus Ministry program of BE offers several organizations that students may join to strengthen faith, offer service, and be disciples for Christ.  Come participate!

Campus Ministry Team

Every second Friday during lunch, our Campus Ministry Team meets in room 217A. The Team aims to share the light of Christ with all of those they encounter through retreats, community service projects and through our school wide prayer services. They share Christ’s love and mercy when they lead retreats for various confirmation classes and our partner schools in the area. They serve their local communities by selecting and leading regularly scheduled service projects that are open to all students regardless of faith or creed at Bishop England. And it is in the school wide prayer services that our Campus Ministry Team leads our student body through school-wide prayer events like the Living Rosary or the Liturgy of the Hours in order to act on the word of God.

  • Every second Friday during lunch
  • Open to all students
  • Meet in room 217A

Bellas

Led by Ms. Gonzalez, the Bellas are female students who gather to lead each other into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church. In meetings, inside and outside of school, these girls share similar experiences in their faith life and work towards social change as advocates for women’s rights. The group is open to all ages of girls at BE who wish to meet new people and become a part of a Christian community that shares the light of the Lord.

  • Every Monday during lunch
  • Open to all female students
  • Meet in room 217A

Fellas

The Fellas, an all-guys group of students, get together to strengthen their faith and form bonds with their Christian brothers here at Bishop England. In this group we discuss the faith and share our experiences as Christian men in and outside of Bishop England in order to grow in our love for the Lord. Our Fellas also are trained to become Masters of Ceremony and have the honor of participating as our altar servers for all-school and daily Mass if they so choose to do so.

  • Every Tuesday at lunch
  • Open to all male students
  • Meet in room 237

Pro-Life Club

Every third Tuesday of each month during lunch, our Pro-Life club meets in room 217A. As our student-run advocacy for life group, we strive to promote a greater level of respect of life from the moment of conception until natural death. During these sessions, we make sure our students develop a strong understanding of the varying issues in the right to life stance in order to confidently and tactfully spread Christ’s message of love for all. The club moderator is Mr. Bartell, a member of our Theology department. This group is open to all students of all ages at Bishop England.
