The Faculty/Staff Bishop of the Month for January has been recognized for her exceptional willingness to help in unexpected ways. Throughout her time at BEHS, she has displayed a positive, can-do attitude and has actively participated in activities beyond her classroom duties. She has been deliberate in her efforts to enhance the overall student experience, both inside and outside the classroom. One of her most outstanding qualities is her selfless giving of time, reflecting her sincere commitment to her duties. She is deeply invested in her students’ success in their academic performance and in making sure they enjoy their high school experience. She consistently connects with her students, often going out of her way to meet their needs. She has also provided remarkable support within her department, demonstrating incredible generosity.
She is a teacher who always goes the extra mile to connect with her students, often putting in a lot of effort! She has gone above and beyond to help her colleagues, even sacrificing her vacation time to complete an urgent task. Her willingness to join Zoom interviews while on vacation abroad was very helpful and appreciated. She has led her department with professionalism and care, especially during the challenging times this year. She has helped new faculty members settle into their roles by working hard and being supportive. Her dedication and generosity are the main reasons why she has been chosen as this month’s award winner.
